Artful Blogging

Artful Blogging is a beautiful and inspiring quarterly magazine published by Stampington.

My hat goes off to Stace Dumoski and Staff for finding these talented artists.

Just reading the list of bloggers published in this issue made me want to get to my computer and visit blogland!

Some of those Included are:
A Bird In The Hand; Cowboy's Sweetheart; Urban Paper Arts;

Brandywine Boutique;
Make a Moo or Two...

Pretty Petals by Heather Kowalski

" Blogging has given me the courage to start my own online boutique to share my vintage finds and artful creations. I am proud of that and feel such a sense of accomplishment being able to share my art and style with others."

Brandywine Boutique by Brandy Faulkner

Brandy's photos are incredible. She certainly knows what she is doing.

Brandy says, " Blogs are one of the doors to finding kindred souls, friends, and a place to blossom."

A Bird in the Hand by Colette Copeland
"...Little by little, people came and commented. And in this way, some friendships were forged that otherwise would not have existed..."

Liquid Sky Arts by Kathleen Rossi-Howell

"My online journal and Web site have opened doors for me that I never would have fathomed."

So, I say go buy the magazine. Carve out a little bit of time to indulge and enjoy...
Your posts may never be the same.

Wednesday

One hundred & two

One hundred and two cubby holes. What a find. I was hunting at Canton a couple of weeks ago, and spotted this shabby chic jewel. I snared it and my friend helped me haul it to the car. Actually, I called my dear hubby first to see if he thought I should land this puppy, but he didn't answer his phone~instant approval! Right? He called me back later and I described my find about twice as big as it really is and he agreed it was something I had to have.
(I thought it was about 7 ' x 3 1/2 '. It actually is 5 1/2' x 2 1/2'. I tend to exaggerate just a little bit when I am excited...)

I love, love, love the color and crackled surface!!

I so desperately want to be like those ladies in the magazines that are so organized in their creative spaces.

I am having so much fun loading some of my stuff in each compartment.
Now if only I enjoyed all my organizing like this...

There is not a ton of room in each cubby, but it is perfect for all those little things that can get lost in a box or on a shelf so easily.

As you can see, I need to get to work filling in the empty cubby holes!

Thursday

Be Still and Know

I ran across this Amish saying the other day and it was just what I needed to hear.

"Remember: when you talk

you only repeat what you already know,

but if you listen you may learn something."

I was reminded of Psalm 46:10a.
