Home ~ for now...
I seem to be gone more this Summer than at home. One Saturday I headed down to Carolyn Westbrook's Sale, over to Kerens, Malakoff, Athens, Canton and then to McKinney. Just a few miles (234) in a day. I will post a few photos later. I really wasn't in the mood that day to take pictures though. Do you ever have those times when you want to just absorb everything around you? Just to let it all sink in and enjoy the moment.
Last weekend my husband, son and I traveled down to San Antonio for a business and family trip. Of course, I coaxed my husband to make a few stops along the way. Thanks to Margo for her posts on great places to shop. My favorite stop was Gatherings in Georgetown. I was so charged up and inspired by their incredible displays. If you get even close to Georgetown, this is a must see.

I wish I had gotten to meet you while you were at Carolyn's (tell me I didn't forget that we did meet, please). It's always a pleasure to talk to someone from McKinney...that's where I was born and raised back when the square was the place to be on Saturdays!

Debbie,
I did not meet you at Carolyn's. You were busy talking to someone while I was there and I didn't want to interupt. Maybe next time!

Nancy,

I will miss getting to see you at Canton Civic Center later this week. You must have a very important appointment to miss your monthly trek thru Junk Heaven! Will hope to see you again soon around the junkkin world.
