The Vintage Home section at the Dallas Market Show was asked to contribute items that would be displayed in the main entry of the World Trade Center. I was expecting an area tucked to the side somewhere, but nope, they put us first and smack dab in the middle. Not too shabby. We were given a Pantone color range and guidelines for what was needed. If you went to market or have seen pictures you will notice pops of color are BIG this season.
You are probably wondering how I could find anything that would go in this mix of blues, greens, oranges, reds and yellows.
It took a lot of looking around and then I found an old box on casters and a little bit of vintage wallpaper on it.
I added more vintage paper and my
own Ella-ments.
On the backside was my mini bowling set.
I am digging this color thing now!
It was such a thrill to be a part of this display.
Yoo Hoo...

Nancy, thank you so much for the link and your sweet comment on my post. In spite of all the chaos that was registering at the show, I actually noticed and loved that little display up front - I should have known lots of it was yours! Thanks again and Happy 4th!
Nancy, you are so right about color making a comeback this season. I'm even buying more things with color! Looks like you had a fabulous booth as ways. Loved the yellow chair too BTW.
That's the way to rock some 50's roll! Love the painting.
