Tuesday

Let me show you a few more changes at the Antique Company  Mall.  One of the biggest improvements lately will be one you might not even notice. All of the red railing has been painted black and the green walls have been painted cream. It now looks sharp and current.

You will be greeted as you walk in the front door by my space on the left and down a little bit on the right is Colorado Nancy's space. We call her that because she spends so much time at her other home in Colorado. I am called Bird Nancy. No surprise there... Anyway, Nancy just expanded her booth and it is fabulous.
She has the touch for display.

The name of her business is Uncommon Goods.
Very fitting because she finds the bestest  fun junk!

These statues with character sold soon after she brought them in.

I know someone who needs this sign...
Stop by and see us. We are open 7 days a week!

Monday

Changes at the Antique Mall

I have been making a few changes  lately.
You will notice the first one as
you walk up to the front door of the Antique Mall.

My space now extends to the front window.

I am trying to find unusual pieces to place in this space.
Which is quite a challenge these days beating those other dealers to that cool stuff!

My booth is to the left as you enter the store.
It is now long and skinny instead of deep where there had to be a walkway down the middle.

My little birdies are spotted everywhere!

I thought placing tiny bottles over the lights in the planter box would give it that little touch of sparkle.

I would love for you all to come by for a visit!

Wednesday

A Little Birdie Told Me

Rumors have been flying all around at The Antique Company Mall as to where
Mr. Ella & Ella Elaine are moving their booths.
Well, Mr. Ella just marked some of his items down and refluffed.
Ella stayed in the same spot, but changed the configuration of her booth.
Stay  tuned for pics!

Tuesday

Entry to THE Market

The Vintage Home section at the Dallas Market Show was asked to contribute items that would be displayed in the main entry of the World Trade Center. I was expecting an area tucked to the side somewhere, but nope, they put us first and smack dab in the middle. Not too shabby. We were given a Pantone color range and guidelines for what was needed. If you went to market or have seen pictures you will notice pops of color are BIG this season.

You are probably wondering how I could find anything that would go in this mix of blues, greens, oranges, reds and yellows.

It took a lot of looking around and then I found an old box on casters and  a little bit of vintage wallpaper on it.
I added more vintage paper and my
own Ella-ments.

On the backside was my mini bowling set.

I am digging this color thing now!
It was such a thrill to be a part of this display.
Yoo Hoo...
