Snapping along

This is a test. A new camera test.

My first photo is a partial view of a nest I painted a few weeks ago.
I have 14 days to try out my new Canon Powershot A1000 IS.
So now I am off to aim & shoot !!

Thursday

...Basket Turnover

You know what happens when you buy a new piece of furniture? Fruit basket turnover. My booth was looking pretty good and sales were great . Seems a little crazy to totally rearrange just for one very cute shabby & chic shelf. But, nope that did not stop me.
I heard somewhere a few weeks ago that Tiger Woods was at the top of his game when he decided to learn a new technique for his swing. I would think he would stick with what was working for him. But, he never stops trying to improve himself as a golfer. Now, the Good Lord only knows if I am at the top of my junking game, but I am going to keep on shaking things up so I will grow. Not just my business, but me too.

Everything is more open now and it is easier to dig around and explore.

So, how are you growing?

Sunday

Camera Quest

I am on the search for a new camera. I feel like one of my cameras is about as good as this vintage Brownie camera I have for sale. My other camera is so big and complex to use, I never can get the settings right. I would love some help on what one I need to buy. I have looked at the Canons. Any advice would be sooo appreciated.

Maybe I will be able to have great photos of my booth in the near future!!

Monday

A Paris Street Flea Market

Now, this is my kind of fun.
Paris Street Market in cool and beautiful Littleton, Colorada.
My Dear Hubby needed to go to Denver for a business trip and I tagged along.
Of course his trip had to be timed around a certain little market date...

The weather was so perfectly pleasant. I was wearing a jacket in August! I picked up my vintage camera bag at the Mile High Flea Market the day before.
It makes a perfect tote for shopping must-haves.

I had room for gum, lipgloss, eyeglasses, fingernail file, hand sanitizer, business cards, cell phone, camera and most important-

$$$ money!

Even out of style hats look good if grouped together.

Great tablecloths.

I need to show this display to Door Knob Bob. Do you think he would pay me (with junk)
to rearrange his tables to look like this?

Par-tay! Blog style

When I turned the big 5-0 last December, I had no idea what a crazy year I would have. Blogging plays an important part in keeping me sane!

I started my blog over a year before the big birthday.
Thinking , " I am a big girl now. I can do this. " Then my blog just sat there. Waiting for the perfect post. Waiting and waiting. Instead of posting, I was a blog stalker. Several of my friends had wonderful, perfect blogs. I wanted mine to be just like theirs. Well, perfect never comes if we don't jump in and try. As I started posting, my business began to bloom. My creative spirit was being released. New relationships were being born. I was inspired.
The above collage is the first image I posted. Once I took the leap, I was hooked!

When I Blog I like to share:
What I create...

and special sales...

Where I create...

Where you can find me... and much, much more!

Blogging and blissful,

Blissful Blogging

I just wanted to share a new book with my blogging friends that I found the other day at Barnes & Noble. Blogging for Bliss by Tara Frey is a wonderful book for the beginner or the experienced. Check Tara's description on her blog at typing out loud and for more details.
Have a blissful blogging day!
